The beautiful and the damned

In Washington, history was being made as a bail out for the US economy was debated on Sunday.

On Multrees Walk in Edinburgh we had a 1929 Packard in all its glory!

The significance of the Packard?  Well the Packard, was an enormous gas guzzling boat of a car.  Driven by the Great Gatsby it was an emblem of an era of decadence that came to an abrupt end in 1929 with the Wall Street Crash.

Thankfully the price tag in Oscar & Fitch is beautifully modest with glasses starting at £125 including lenses.  Stay stylish despite the credit crunch!
