We’re excited to kick off this series by introducing you to the brilliant Katy Birchall, our Operations Manager extraordinaire!
Highly creative, with her roots in textile and shop design, Katy brings a unique blend of creative vision and sharp logistical prowess.
With her versatile skill set and can-do attitude, Katy ensures that the good ship Hot Tin Roof stays afloat and on course, no matter what challenges come our way.
Q.1 What was your first job?
I worked on the phones for a research call centre while I was in high school. If there was ever a first job best suited to throwing you in the deep end with people, it’s a call centre!
Q.2 What are you most proud of?
Supporting the design of Hot Tin Roof’s new brandand re-launching the website. It was my first project here and allowed me to use my creativity as well as flex my planning muscles.
Q.3 Where is the next place you would love to visit?
Canada, it’s the most incredible place and I haven’t been out there for about 10 years!
Q.4 What is your favourite quote?
“In the end, everything will be ok.
