TenTel and Hallmark combine as ‘one-stop shop’ for letting agents

Challenger telecoms company TenTel has acquired ownership of utility management firm Hallmark to provide an all-inclusive hub for the lettings industry.

This acquisition along with an ongoing partnership with British Gas offers a one-stop shop for change of lease management, including changeover administration of tenants, broadband and phone services and all utilities.

Investment of over £100,000 in new technology, such as Hallmark’s Letting Agent Portal, enables fast check in/outs at no charge, offering commission to letting agents and expediting the process for tenants.


TenTel appoints Finance Director and Customer Director

Challenger telecoms company TenTel has announced two senior appointments as the business gears up for rapid expansion in 2016.

Daniel Halliday, who has been with TenTel since 2014, has been promoted to Finance Director and Scott Mackay has joined as Customer Director. These appointments complete the company’s senior management team and follow its growth from just three staff to over 50 employees in under two years.

A disruptive player in the industry, TenTel specialises in no contract and short-term contract telephone and broadband, a concept that has proved popular with the lettings market. The company recently moved to new premises in the Edinburgh area, creating 40 jobs as it continues to increase its customer base with over 1,000 customers joining every month.

Jobs boost for Scotland as TenTel secures £170,000 in RSA funding

Independent telecoms company, TenTel, revealed today plans to create over 40 new jobs following a £170,000 Regional Selective Assistance funding award. The grant will also enabling the company to re-locate to larger premises outside Edinburgh, paving the way for continued growth.

TenTel is one of the few service providers that offers no-contract broadband and telephone services and in its first year of trading has built its team to 50 people. With ambitious growth plans, TenTel expects to sign up a further 50,000 customers over the next 12 months and increase the team to over 100 full-time staff.

The company expects to announce the location of a new state of the art headquarters towards the end of the year. The new site will be tailor made with the technology and equipment needed to support current business needs and future proof the company for rapid growth.
